Little Kyron...

I've been obsessed this past week with the story of little Kyron Horman from Portland Oregon. I stumbled upon his story on the People Magazine website last week, I've been hooked ever since. The 7-year-old vanished from his school in Portland, seemingly out of thin air, just after 9am Friday June 4th. Details on this case can be read here. I encourage you to read the details of his case and share your thoughts. It is a very unusual case full of holes and missing information. Although my logic tells me otherwise, I continue to pray for a miracle that he will be found alive.

Luminato!!! I've been living in Toronto for 5 years now and have yet to take advantage of some of the incredible events this city has to offer. Last night I checked Luminato off my list.
My husband and I went to a show called "Best Before" at the Berkely St. Theatre, home to the Canadian Stage Company. This Luminato show by the group Rimini Protokoll, was just awesome!
It's a show that uses the audience members as the antagonists in the story being watched. Each audience member uses a video game controller to control their own avatar on the screen. It was a fun and thought-provoking performance that I would surely participate in again. It was not like anything I have ever experienced before. If you're looking for something to do I highly reccomend it. The show is only on in Toronto until Saturday June 19th, 2010. Tickets are a measily $35, and can be purchased from the Luminato website. Have fun, I'd love to hear your thoughts after your experience!
